Rotary Club of Madras South

 

Rtn. Kalyan Banerjee, Rotary Club of Vapi, Gujarat, India is the President of Rotary International for 2011-12. A Rotarian since 1972, he is Rotary's 101st President and its third President from India. Kalyan is a Major Donor, Benefactor, and Bequest Society member, and has been awarded the Foundation's Citation for Meritorious Service and its Distinguished Service Award.

Ann Binota, is a social worker and Inner Wheel club member. They have two children and four grandchildren.

 

Rtn. Sampath Kumar, is the Governor of District 3230 with 107 clubs in Revenue Districts of Chennai, Chengalpattu, North Arcot and Thituvannamalai. The first club was chartered in July, 1929. RCMS is the second club in the city. Rotary Club of Vellore, chartered in  March, 1948 is the second in the district.

District Governor for the year 2011-12 Rtn. Sampath Kumar is a Civil Engineering graduate from Bangalore University. He was the President of Rotary Club of Thiruvannamalai in 2000-01, Ann Dr. Saiprasanna is also a very active Rotarian.

 

Rtn. K Prakash, is the 52nd President of the Club. He joined RCMS in 2001. "Packaging/Steel Products" is his classification. Born and brought up in Bombay, he studied in Bombay. Having gained experience and confidence as a distributor for many products, he started his own units to make steel storage systems in Chennai.

Prakash had held important positions in the Club before becoming the president. Ann Jayashree, a lively person, assists him in his work and service activities.
